Bourbon and Bonbons

At Clairemont, we don’t just spruce up a stalwart event. We love designing completely fresh approaches to target audiences, boost visibility and ultimately secure sales.

Last week, we had the pleasure of doing just that!

Clairemont and client Wendell Falls, the Triangle’s largest new-home community, hosted a VIP tasting soiree that leveraged hot culinary trends and popular local businesses to attract potential homebuyers. Hosted at the Wendell Falls Farmhouse, “Bourbon and Bonbons” rolled out the red carpet with a classy yet casual evening. We invited guests to preview some of the area’s finest bourbons paired with gourmet truffles from Videri Chocolate Factory, one of Raleigh’s beloved downtown artisans. Guests could then enjoy a spread of smoky hors d’oeuvres, live music and a glass of wine or beer.

Friends and fans from across the Triangle joined the festivities — many who were visiting the community for the first time! Cheers to some of Raleigh’s finest flavors and a wonderful event at Wendell Falls!

We love this shot of two Clairemont clients, Chef Teddy Diggs of Il Palio and Sam Ratto of Videri Chocolate Factory, taken recently at Videri’s fifth anniversary party. Chef Teddy is one of the many well-known chefs who uses Videri Chocolate to create signature desserts.

Both gentlemen will be participating in Charleston Wine+Food in March, and Chef Teddy Diggs will be cooking at the James Beard House in New York next month. Craving Chocolate? Videri is the Answer

If you’re craving chocolate, we’ve got your fix. Clairemont client, Videri Chocolate Factory, is throwing a fifth anniversary party this weekend, and YOU are invited. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Sunday, January 15, stop by Videri at 327 W. Davie Street for tasty treats, raffles, chocolate crafts and family fun. You’ll meet Starr, Sam, Chris and all the other sweet Videri people!

In the meantime, check out this video by Baldwin& and Josh Steadman from Steady Films that shows how Sam made chocolate posters for the event. Pretty cool, huh? Yeah well, pretty delicious, too. Garden & Gun Jubilee

Garden & Gun’s 4th annual Jubilee was last weekend in Charleston. From the food to the music to the venues, nary a detail was missed. The event planners nailed it when it came to creating a backdrop for photo opportunities that festival participants would share on social media.

Personally, I found the huge Jubilee marquee irresistible, as you’ll see in this shot of me with Clairemont client, Starr Sink from Videri Chocolate Factory. Pepper Festival Judge: Videri

We are dedicating our blog each Friday of this month to one of our favorite events of the year, Abundance NC’s Pepper Festival. Thanks to our client, Briar Chapel, for hosting this important community event and involving us in it for the past several years. On October 2, together with the teams at Abundance NC and Briar Chapel (and 2,000 or so of our closest friends), we celebrated the 9th annual Pepper Festival.

This photo features Sam Ratto from Videri Chocolate Factory with my son, Jackson. Sam is another Clairemont client who brought his culinary expertise to the Pepper Festival to serve as one of our judges.
