Social Media Barometer is Coming to Raleigh

November 12, 2012January 31, 2023 Dana PhelpsBlog, Public Relations, Raleigh PR Agency, Social Media + Influencer EngagementMartin Waxman, NCPRSA, Raleigh PR Agency

I’m so excited to report that my friend and fellow PRSA Counselors Academy member, Martin Waxman, is coming to Raleigh this week, (okay, technically Chapel Hill) to deliver his Social Media Barometer presentation. Martin has had this show on the road, including a stop last month at PRSA’s International Conference where he presented to a packed room. We are thrilled to have Martin as a speaker this week at NCPRSA‘s PR and Marketing Seminar.

Check out Martin’s blog post today for more info about Social Media Barometer and the video I shot with him recently to get a preview. Hope to see you at the Friday Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Follow Martin’s blog! Great info for PR people.

Some of my favorite PR people are in North Carolina (a former home of mine). Wish I could be there! Knock ’em dead Martin.

Indra, you need to come for this next year. Seriously, let’s stop talking about it and plan it!

Kudos to NCPRSA on securing a top notch speaker and overall nice guy! Sounds like a great presentation.

Wow – thanks everyone! If you could see me, you’d know my face is a bit red. I’m very excited about presenting at NCPRSA! Roger, as they say in Toronto, it’s worth the drive to Acton (bad local TV reference, but you’ll probably get it). Lisa, Abbie – too bad you aren’t going to be there and submitting for Phoenix sounds great. Margot, Tracy – looking forward to meeting you.

And Dana – thanks for the wonderful welcome!

    See you soon.

Awwww, I want to come! Martin, we’ll have to get you up to the Northwest some time! He’s a great speaker and really knows his stuff.

    Have fun!

I’m so looking forward to hearing Martin’s presentation that I’m not even going to complain about having to drive from Raleigh to Chapel Hill for an 8 a.m. start! Well, I won’t as long as NCPRSA has coffee out when we arrive.

Seriously, though, Martin is such a thought leader in the industry that I know conference attendees will be blown away. And I along with ’em.

Thanks for sending the reminder out to the chapter, Dana, and I look forward to seeing you bright and early Thursday morning.

    Roger

This sounds like a great presentation. My work schedule requires me to be in Phoenix this week — I’m sorry to be missing this.

Hey Martin — consider presenting to the Western District Conference in April. Right here in beautiful AZ!

So sorry we won’t be seeing you here, Abbie!

So excited to have Martin here in NC. I’ve had the pleasure of sitting in his presentation in other parts of the country and he is always a hit with attendees.

Chuck, thanks for your help in getting Martin and Alan Cohen to speak at the NCPRSA seminar. Great lineup this year. (Although it would be better if it still included Abbie and not a replacement for Abbie.) 🙂
