Since I started with Clairemont nearly a year ago, I have proudly joined Dana in working with Triangle Family Services, a local nonprofit focused on building a stronger community by helping needy families in the area. In case you’re not familiar with the organization, here’s a quick rundown of its comprehensive services: individual and family counseling, consumer credit counseling, an emergency housing program and abuser treatment program.
Want to learn more? How about attending the organization’s very first Wake Up with TFS annual charity breakfast? The event will be hosted by the TFS Young Professionals — of which, I am an active member — on Thursday, Sept 1. from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at the RBC Center.
As co-chair for the event, I can promise it will be a memorable and moving morning. Clients will share their stories, present and past members of the Board of Directors and Advisory Board, as well as outgoing Board Chair Clymer Cease will be honored and the food will be delicious!
Money raised from the event will benefit needy families in the area. Tickets are $35, with table sponsorships available for $250 for a table of 10, as well as $500 for additional name recognition. Those interested may purchase tickets online at www.tfsnc.org/.
Will I see you there?
This will be a great opportunity professional networking while learning about all of the things Triangle Family Services does each and every day to help families in our community who have nowhere else to turn. We hope to see you there!
